Horrible creatures attack Manhattan. The Twisted are these life forms, according to ground reports from the squad tasked with containing the pandemonium. Within a year, the CTI, an investigative team, is formed. The Overdive system emerges as an alternative, but only one viable candidate is Aya Brea—a gift as she awakens from a lost past on this, her third birthday.
